One for him, one for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion.

Finally the shops are starting to get new stock in but there are still lots of sale pieces floating about, if you look hard enough you will see bits you need I am sure, but I am proud to say I have stuck to what I do every year and that is to build the next age group sizes from the best of the sales.  I saw a few nice pieces for boys, girls and women over the last week or so and here are some, which are all in-stores now.

First up for boys in Dunnes, I love the jumpers which average ten euro, with cute motifs in-store now. I can see little boys going off,if they are lucky over the Easter break in this really cute ” Time to fly” jumper, and the red face, and cool tops are perfect for playwear or casual weekend wear paired over jeans or tracksuit bottoms.

I love Outfit for kids, which is in Dorothy Perkins on Childers road in Limerick and was delighted to see their sale was great value! I love the quality of their clothes and so far so good they are washing well (always a bonus with boys) . I don’t put matching tracksuits on my little fella but this army print dinosaur skeleton tracksuit was a steal in the sale and a fabulous print to boot! This geo-print dinosaur jumper is lovely on and the two-tone colour will work well into Spring. Finally I picked up this lovely red and navy shirt for Christmas (yip sorry, I went there! I always get some of the following years Christmas clothes in the sales) I will pair this over a pair of navy chinos and jeans for later use.

I am going mad I didn’t bring this fab little thunderbolt print tracksuit home with me, for only fifteen euro its a mix and match outfit for your little dude! And how cute is this space top for only six euro.

red tsuitspace top

Staying in Outfit, the girls clothes are just divine! Pieces I featured in the blog before were in the sale so this cream star knit dress came home for only twelve euro!  And this star pink tutu dress also came home, for only twelve euro they are bargains and gorgeous little dresses perfect for any party wear.

But the piece that stole my heart in the girls section is this coat, down to twenty two euro, I am obsessed with it (if only they did womens’ sizes) pink coat 2

In Dunnes for girls these two dresses caught my eye, perfect for over Easter and later as playwear teamed with either tights or leggings. Thethree quarter peplum sleeves on the floral dress are great for when the weather warms a little but for now a cardigan over will keep your little girl cosy.dunnes heartdunnes floral dress

Penneys unfortunately don’t have much for toddler boys( I really think Limerick lucks out here for some reason as I see their ranges in other counties but the boys sections here are tiny!) but the girls are starting to get some really lovely pieces in.  In particular I loved the cherry range, which featured on tops, leggings and a sweet little sleeveless dress with red skinny belt. Rainbows are present everywhere too with glittery tops and tunic dresses as per below. I loved this denim knot dress for little girls and think it would be gorgeous on holidays with either these pink glittery sandals or white sparkle woven sole sandal. And how cute is this heart motif frill sleeved dress in-store now! I also thought these ribbon suede runners are a cute alternative to a sandal for warmer days and would be lovely now with dresses and tights as an alternative to ankle boots.

In women’s this week how can you resist these shoes which ran out the door last year and are BACK! I also spotted this really cute Minnie handbag, run because I bet even though they’re extremely high, they will go quick.

In the Cresent store in Limerick the shoes section has amazing bargains with alot of styles reduced to seven euro( including knee highs) , I loved these studded boots down to only nine euro, they are the perfect tea dress match!

stud boots 7euro

This mustard tassle T-Shirt, which comes in grey also, is only ten euro and would be lovely now over skinnies with either of these bags . I would layer this rust suede biker coat over.

red suede

If you are on the lookout for some office friendly dresses, these Peter pan collared shift dresses will fit the bill, they are quite tight on the bust so I would go up a size and pair with a skinny belt to tuck in at the waist.

You know by now I am a sucker for mustard, and pinafores come a close second, how cute is this pinafore! Only for I have this in baby pink from last year it would have come home with me! Pair with polo necks now and T-shirts in warmer weather for a casual look.

I love the look of this floral blazer too in Penneys, it would be gorgeous over a shift dress for a Communion or Confirmation or a cami with white skinnies for a night out later in the Spring.

This swimsuit caught my eye, the frill detail is the same on the back and I would actually wear this as a top with a pair of leather skinnies for a sexy evening time look. It really is a gorgeous swimsuit, tape is required here !

yellow pinaforefloral blazerswimsuit

And lastly back to Dunnes for women this week. Both these dresses would be stunning in the office or for an occasion and could be dressed up or down accordingly.  In fact the bright floral one is calling me back to be purchased, it is so bright and cherry against all the dull colours about at the moment!

Happy Friday everyone and I hope the weekend is good to you:)

One for him,One for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion.

Sale season is upon us and most of us have just finished the first week back at work after the Christmas holidays. This leaves little time to think of anything other than sheer panic at the year looming ahead of us. Which is why alot of impulse buying is done come sale time.

For me I use the sales as an opportunity when I have the time to buy for the next age group up for the kids and to buy staples for myself, such as shoes, handbags and coats and avoid throwing things into the basket which I will never wear.

With that in mind I always watch the Mothercare sale as I have always been impressed with the quality of their clothes, right from when the twins arrived up to now, three and a half! I did buy alot of the next age group in the mid season sale last year so I did restrict myself to a few buys this time around but as always am delighted with the prices and the quality of my choices.

First up is this checkered shirt layered over a long sleeved navy top, meaning two outfits in one ! I love the brightness of the shirt and can see it worn over the Summer with sleeves rolled up and later in the year over wine chinos. This blue jumper and grey hoodie also came as a set and is perfect attire for little boys to look nice yet are comfortable at school and outdoors. As is the grey Explorer jumper a great buy for busy boys!

In Tesco they currently have a 3 for two on certain boys and girls clothing. Each of these boys tops were under seven euro so you are getting good value for money there and nice functional and cute printed clothing at the same time. This checkered shacket caught my eye also in-store, it is lighter but still cosy so could be paired with a top underneath now and on its own coming into Spring. And as always I am a sucker for a grandad shirt and this lovely top came home from Tesco too.

boys 3 for 2shirt greyboys grandad shirt

Staying in Tesco for girls, here are some of the picks from their three for two range. They have lots of lovely tunics, dresses, top and leggings combinations on offer currently.

tesco 3 for 2 girls

I managed to pick up a few next size sales bits which I will hold for next Christmas or a party later in the year. This pink sparkly dress was down to seven euro and the grey velvet dress is a little beauty and under ten euro! The cloud pocket cardigan is new stock but only eleven euro for aged 4/5 and ten euro aged 3/4 and is a nice transitional cardigan for Spring/Summer for little girls with the warmer weather.pink dress 1loud carditesco velvet grey

Back to Mothercare for girls and this floral dress comes with lovely chunky grey tights which I will pair with calf length boots and a gillet next Autumn and as herself gets taller I will pair it over leggings when she outgrows the dress length. I also loved this white floral print casual dress, a perfect dress for running around in. And as always I adore the Mylene Klass range in Mothercare and picked up this dotty top which I will pair over these mouse knee jeggings I also got in the sale there.

For Mammy, back to work, boo! These brown patent shoes helped make it a little easier to bear, from Penneys they are a little higher than their last release of these shoes but stil comfortable enough and I love this colour as it generally matches with most colours.

As I mentioned earlier I try not to impulse buy in the sales and limit myself to key items such as handbags, purses, coats, shoes and the odd dress if I have been lusting after something for a long time and it is reasonable in the sale, or an occasion dress if I have an event coming up. I was very good this January and have only a few items winging their way to me. These are a few pieces I saw tonight online on River Island and Zara, both are still in stock in average sizes as I was posting this blog.

This brown bag is down under thirty euro , this colour is one of my favourites in a handbag and generally looks well with most outfits.

704724_main

I have seen both these dresses on in real life and again buth are under thirty euro online right now and would be lovely for a party/event later in the year.

River Island over the knee boots at a steal , these block heel will give you comfort and I love these paired under tea dresses or over skinny jeans.706762_main (1)

My picks from the Zara sale today ,still in stock online are the following

This coat is only 29euro , I tried on a red version earlier in the year and it is a beautiful cut and will be lovely come Spring time for office wear or paired over jeans/leathers.

zara coat mustard

This suede coat is down to 29euro aswell on Zara online.

And this pink ,fur hood park is down to 39euro.

pink 39.jpg

As you know I love my Zara leather/pleather jackets and most are down to 20euro/25euro currently online. This waterfall one is perfect for coming into the lighter weather and just under twenty euro! And this floral dress comes in at eighteen euro, you can pair it with black tights and the leather jacket for now and when it begins to warm with bare legs and sandals or the knee highs from River Island for a sexier look.

18 euro zara floral.jpgwfall 29

I love this denim dress aswell which is down to eighteen euro. I would tie a thin brown belt around it to cinch in at the waist with a pair of brown ankle boots.

And lastly you will know I have featured this dress as one of my picks for Christmas but as it is down to only twenty euro it had to make it into the basket  and was my one impulse buy!

So Happy shopping and don’t lose the run of yourself , remember another sale is only around the corner these days. Also always buy online only if you see a padlock on the left hand side of the web bar address to ensure you are buying from a reputable site.

Happy Friday everyone:)

One for him, one for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion.

Friday is here ! and we are one week closer to Christmas so I imagine alot of you are out and about getting the last few bits. Like everyone it has been a manic week for me with no time to go anywhere bar a few quick food shopping trips on snatched short lunch breaks so I have a few picks to show you from Tesco ,( which is always handy when you are popping in for the nights dinner to run through the clothing section).

I am also conscious that at Christmas there is an overload of cute Christmas print clothing about, in particular for kids and whilst I am unable to resist buying a snowman tutu dress and a reindeer print boys Christmas shirt ,Ideally you want clothes for the kids that won’t look silly come February.

Bearing that in mind I have a few pieces from Zara to show you which are festive in their prints but won’t also look out of place in 2018!

For boys mix and match is the name of the game here. A checkered shirt is always a winner at Christmas, throw in a granda collar and I am sold! I picked these soft suspender accessorised pants and these fab red shoes from Zara as a great outfit choice over Christmas. This red and grey striped jumper would also be a lovely pick paired with these pants and later over jeans.

How cute is this red, claw pocket jumper in a festive wine colour? I love these grey comfortable yet stylish joggers, with suspenders attached, which would also be lovely with this green star, grandad collared top.

Popping into Tesco these two coats caught my eye, for under thirty euro each they are perfect for the cold snap we are having at the moment and will keep your little boy warm and cosy.

For girls back in Zara, again checks feature strongly, but here I have picked a few black prints with hints of red. The two pinafore dresses would be lovely Christmas day with a little sparkly cardigan over them and can be worn with a white polo neck underneath after the holidays. I also adore this long sleeved black and white floral applique dress which would be very cute paired with a pair of wine ankle high lace up boots and a fur gillet over.

I picked these two dresses and this amazing playsuit as alternative Christmas outfits for girls who are less girly girl. Whilst the tulle dress has pink going through it, I love the design of this dress and with cream tights and ankle boots it would be stunning for any day over Christmas. Likewise the grey pompom dress, wine ankle boots and a wine gillet would be lovely on any little girl . lastly this playsuit is something a little different but I just love the look and would wear with boots, tights and a little flutter sleeved blouse underneath with a chunky knit cardigan over for warmth.

In Tesco, this red velvet floral print dress is a steal at under fifteen euro. I showed the star jumper last week but how cute is it over this black and white checkered skirt? the skirt print is also in a pinafore style instore too.

This jacket for girls also caught my eye, I can’t pinpoint the colour, it is between a silver and gold but is lovely and shiny for this time of year, and cosy too , being the most important!

Going back to Zara for women, both these dresses are under twenty euro and are ideal for Christmas day if you want something that looks lovely but is also comfortable. I picked up the dress on the right and will wear it with black tights and ankle boots.

Both these red ruffle and wine velvet dresses again are a bargain in Zara and offer both style and comfort for over Christmas. The red is a tighter fit dress whilst the wine dress is worn loose on the body.

I love Zara knits and have a few of their pearl design knits from this years collection. This cream pearl embellished short sleeved one caught my eye as a nice alternative for Christmas day, and I have picked a brown suede and navy leather skirt to go with it here.

Lastly for women this week a shop I never go into as it is only in Limerick town ,is Mango. Excuse the bad shot but this mustard floral print dress was only €15.99. It is such a pretty dress and extremely flattering and comfortable. There are two other prints in this style, both black floral designs. I also saw this mustard frill bottomed dress which I imagine is stunning on and hopefully will get back to try it over the holidays.

Happy shopping everyone and if you are venturing out to the shops this weekend, go early and avoid the rush if you can.

One for him, one for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion.

Happy Friday everyone, I have to say the excitement is building here for Christmas and will be even more so once the tree goes up tonight as tradition with it being Little Christmas.

I have a mixed bag to show you this week as I had a good opportunity to visit a few shops in Limerick’s Cresent shopping centre. With kids in tow it is hard so I did not get around to everywhere and it is tending to get quite busy now in the run up to Christmas so best get out there early in the day if you are heading there!

First up for boys in Zara is this adorable Christmas print jumper over these gorgeous soft deep blue denims. I love the turn up print on the jeans too making them a little more dressy.

zara hoho

Next up for boys I popped into Tesco. I find that whilst they have lovely boys clothes, the turnover of stock is quite low and I have featured most in-store at this stage. I did see this cosy fleece hoody, perfect for the car in these cold mornings and this jumper/collared shirt combination would be lovely over wine chinos for Christmas. Tesco have twenty percent off clothing for four days only so if you are buying now is the time to get in buy before the offer is over.

Stopping by Penneys I found this really cute Christmas print hoodie. Who can argue with a seven Euro price point for this lovely festive coloured checkered shirt which would be lovely over jeans or wine/navy pants.

I bought the grey and navy boots here for little boys in Penneys, they will match all the outfits I have for Christmas, I nearly brought home the orange and navy too ,they are gorgeous!boys boots penneys

In Heatons there is thirty percent off all clothing instore at the moment. Again I have featured alot of what is in-store recently but this gorgeous black and white checkered shirt caught my eye aswell as these hoodies in faded grey and black.heatons hoodies

Check out my Instagram stories today, over @Dodeestodaquiris where you can see some boys and girls boots in Heatons, all with thirty percent off.

If you are still looking for a Christmas coat for your little girl this might suit and with thirty percent off in Heatons it is even more affordable for you.heatons pink coat

Carrying on the pink theme in Tesco this week how adorable are these two pink dresses. With twenty percent off (ending soon) I would be getting into the shops quick to pick them up. I love the velvet tutu dress and the floaty pink dress has a beautiful sparkle running through which you can’t quite see in this photo but it is a stunning dress.

I also love this little red sequin star jumper from Tesco for little girls which would be lovely over jeans or chunky tights and a velvet red skirt. Gingham leggings come with it so it is great for mix and matching.

star jumper

Penneys continue to bring in some beautiful pieces for little girls. I love tartan dresses at Christmas and this dress is adorable, paired it with patent shoes for Christmas day and over the season with boots ( they have red sparkle boots in store which would pair beautifully and tights to keep the legs warm.

They now have tutus of this beautiful tulle embroidered floral print in a lovely pink colour and there are various sequinned tops and cardigans instore. Layer over this fur coat to keep your little girl cosy and warm.

I also love this navy pearl cardigan ,you could pair this over the tartan dress and also with a blouse and layer over this beautiful floral navy skirt.

And lastly if you are looking for something a little bit different for your little girl for Christmas I really love this striped dress and would style it with chunky tights and navy patent doc boots for a more edgier Christmas look.penneys tartan dresspenneys skirt and coat combopearl cardi and skirtpenneys girls dress striped

I brought home the pink frilled cardigan and off the shoulder white dress from Penneys and could’ve easily bought these other cosy knits in-store this week.

I would pair this crushed velvet jacket in Penneys over a pair of leather skinnies and whilst I wouldn’t be brave enough to wear this gold dress in Penneys, it did catch my eye as a party dress for over Christmas.

In Zara this week they have lots of gorgeous dresses perfect for both day and night, here are a few of my picks.

I adore this sparkle rose gold dress from Heatons, it is quite low though so more suited to less endowed girls or pair with a bralet underneath for the more busty of us!

heatons sparkly dress

I fell in love with this coral knit dress in Tesco, also with twenty percent off for a limited time!

And lastly here is a ott sparkle dress from H&M but it is Christmas so the perfect time to wear it.

Enjoy the weekend and shopping and if you want to see some videos pop over to my Instagram stories where I have a few videos of these looks and some more pieces I saw this week.

One for him, one for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion.

Am I allowed to say it and not feel ashamed for doing so? Today is the 1st of December after all and since the Late Late Toy show is on tonight, half the nations’ trees are about to go up and the Santa season has begun I want to wish you all a Happy Christmas. For my non Irish readers who have not heard of this Irish institution before I have a link at the end of this piece where you can view it from anywhere around the world.

Think adults, children and lots of battery operated toys in one studio. Think lots of cute children singing and performing for the nation. Think of the presenter dressed in his finest Christmas jumper and the audience dolled up to the nines in polyester Christmas outfits all eager to leave the show with hundreds of euro of free toys and you might just about get an idea of what the Toy show means to the Irish.

Onto my picks for this week and I have a mix of online and in-store choices to show.

Starting off with Littlewoods for boys, all these clothes are currently on offer, ranging from €8.50 for this gorgeous cardigan to a maximum of eighteen euro so there are some really lovely bits on sale currently. I have a link at the end of this piece ,non affiliated, but just to point you in the right direction as to where to look.

I put together this shirt/dickie-bow and cardigan combination over these formal pants, but they would look equally as cute over a pair of jeans, perfect for a Christmas party for your little boy.

I also loved this print dickie-bow shirt and as always I am a sucker for a denim shirt and this colour would be gorgeous over a wine pair of chinos with a little wine dickie bow as a nod to the season.

I ran into Next for a peak at the sale last week but to be honest there was not much out but these few pieces caught my eye as I was passing. Again another denim shirt, I love the patch work effect here with the differing denim shades and would pair these over black jeans and boots.

boys denim shirt next

You could do a double denim look with these faded skinnies or pair it with this fabulous red shirt or either of these padded shackets in younger boys.

However my best find in Next was this Christmas jumper for boys and it will all become clear in a moment.

Ta,Da! Twinning Christmas jumper and dress combination. I just adore this girls Christmas jumper which matches in perfectly with the boys Christmas jumper above. And if you thought this was a match made in heaven wait until you see further down…

Any unicorn obsessed little one or Mammy will love this cosy grey knit dress with unicorn motiff.

For a more traditional Christmas look they have this beautiful print peter pan collared dress in both navy and red in Next right now at a very reasonable price point. These would be so pretty with T-bar patent shoes.girls red peterpan next

I loved this tutu skirt rabbit dress but comfortable and girly at the same time.

girls tutu next

I have to say I adore this black floral print dress in Next for younger girls, it is a gorgeous alternative Christmas party dress for those who don’t like the traditional Christmas colours. Pair this with a short bolero and tights and it is worthy of any party.next girls black

Stopping by the Littlewoods sale section again for girls and I can’t believe this gorgeous velvet floral print navy dress starts at only twelve euro! I also love this black frilled floral dress on offer currently also, I would pair this with a mustard cable knit tight and black calf high boots for a pop of Winter colour against the floral backdrop.

It would not be Christmas without tartan and here is one more casual look but still very pretty dress for your little girl or a more dressy choice with the frill top, skirt and tights combo.

If you are still on the lookout for a party dress for your little girl then both these party dresses are on offer currently until the end of next week. Again a link in is at the bottom of this article.

Staying in Littlewoods special offers for women, I just love this star print skirt and would pair it with this simple black sparkle top and either a black leather short jacket for a more informal night out with black ankle boots or you could dress it up a bit more with this flared coat and pink boots.

The grey frill high neck jumper dress is a great outfit choice for lounging about St.Stephen’s day or as an outfit to dress with cable knit tights and calf length boots for any outdoor trips over the Winter.

Here are two black print options which would be lovely for Christmas day as alternative to red or creams, you can bring in a nod to the day like below with the red heel or pick up a pair of red ankle boots which seem to be everywhere at the moment.

And here it is the third twinning piece in Next for Women. We have a trio of matching Christmas outfits ( I forgot to check the mens so they may well have a mens jumper to match) for Mammy, him and her!

I don’t ever wear ponchos but this colour and knit was too lovely not to share , in-store in Next also.

And that is it for me this week. I hope you have a truly lovely weekend whatever your plans are 🙂

One for him, one for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion.

It is all about Penneys this week with a few pieces from Tesco for boys thrown into the mix.

First up for boys if you are starting to think of Christmas, there is nothing more adorable than a shirt and dickie bow pairing and this cute shirt from Penneys would be gorgeous with wine chinos or paired over dark blue jeans. I love this black denim shirt and top combo which would be really cool over grey jeans, as would this NYC motif hoodie instore this week.

boys bowboys black denimnyc

Popping into Tesco this checkered shirt caught my eye, it is a beautiful green colour in reality ,the light is slightly distorting but trust me it is a beautiful shade of green.

boys tesco shirt

I love this cute polar bear long sleeved top for boys and is perfect for all the kids Christmas parties coming  up over jeans. Or if Christmas jumpers are your little mans thing, then this pom pom jumper in Tesco would fit the bill nicely. If you want to go the whole hog, of shirt,dickie-bow and Christmas print then here is the shirt for him. How cute is the print on this boys shirt!

I love this other blue checkered shirt in Tesco at the moment, I am always impressed by the softness of their little boys shirts which won’t irritate sensitive skin. And how cool are these pants and suspenders? All tops and shirts would be lovely over this pants so you can mix and match over the holidays.polar bearboys xmas jumperchristmas shirt boy

Back to Penneys for little girls this week I absolutely fell in love with this frill collared denim shirt which will give you lots of different looks paired with skinny jeans, skirts and pinafores.

girls denim

They have some beautiful tops in-store at the moment for girls, these two pretty blouses are perfect to be paired with cord shorts or skirts for a more dressy look and later over jeans for a more casual look.penneys blouses

I have a weakness for coats and these two new into Penneys for girls are too cute. The green winter coat with pink faux fur collar is your perfect Christmas coat and I love the grey boucle coat with the duffel buttons, this grey coat is perfect in the car as it is nice and thin but cosy aswell.

girls fur coatgirls bobble coata

If you are searching for some party dresses for your little girl, Penneys are really ramping up their stock now and there are some beautiful pieces in store. For unicorn obsessed girls this tutu style dress will be sure to keep them happy. The navy floral embroidered dress is stunning and made it home with me so keep an eye on my Instagram as I will be posting some pictures once I put it on A.

I haven’t seen this style girls dress before and I love the velvet striped detail on it, it is a really rich looking fabric and looks far more expensive than what the cost it. The blue velvet and gold dust dress is devine and the picture doesn’t do this dress justice, you need to see it. The little bows on the shoulders are lovely and the gold dust sparkling across the bottom of the dress is beautiful. And lastly if you prefer a more traditional style party dress this gold sparkle bow dress will fit the bill. Penneys have cardigans of all lengths in store to suit all these dresses and the others that I haven’t featured so you will be sure to find a complete outfit in the one place.penneys velvet bluepenneuys velvue blue goldpenneys gold dress

Boots! These three pairs of girls boots are perfect for Christmas with their sparkles. The lace up style is a glitter explosion, I love them and the bow detail  boots in red and black will suit any outfit.

I ran into Zara and these two dresses caught my eye. I think the picture of this star dress doesn’t pick up the beautiful shimmer of the material and I love the frill sleeves. Overall though the colour didn’t do anything for me but I think this is a gorgeous dress and definitely a party dress for someone over the Christmas. Pop over to my Instagram stories to get a look at this gold sequin dress to see it in all its glory later. It is quite large fitting, I tried on a medium and think if I were to buy it I would get a small but I loved this dress on. The sequins drip off the dress and move with you so perfect for all the dance floor moves at upcoming Christmas parties.

Back to Penneys and I literally wish I had an open credit card this week with all my finds!

I featured their new leather coats last week and now they have it in a beautiful wine colour. The dusty pink coat was forty euro, quite large fitting closed but extremely cosy to wear.

So this coat is a bit out there for me but I have fallen in love and only wish I had somewhere to wear it. The block colour combos of pink, white and grey I think are stunning. For only forty euro it is such great value, the quality is really good and I have not stopped thinking about it since I tried it on.Again it is quite large fitting, I tried on a ten and even with my bust it was roomy.

grey coat 2 c

I love this mustard frill cardigan and would pair it over this frill pleather skirt , a camisole and with opaque black tights and ankle stiletto boots for a night out or 100deniers and wedge knee high boots for a more casual look.

The dresses are stunning off the hanger and I was really disappointed with the fit on the bust as Penneys have been generous in sizing as of late with their wrap dresses. I tried on the ten ,hence why you can only see the side profile pictures 🙂 If you were to go up a size these dresses are really good value.

Here she is , “The” velvet wrap dress. It is in-store right now in wine and a midnight blue colour. I bought the wine and it is my Christmas day dress, we all want to be comfortable for that big feed and the ten is this is roomy and extremely comfortable to wear. For only sixteen euro its great quality and a great price.

I wanted a cosy roll neck jumper and picked up this pink sparkly jumper for those crisp Winter days out. Cardigans are everywhere instore and I thought this pearled grey long cardigan would be lovely over jeans and the leather skirt featured earlier with the many skinny ribbed  polo necks in-store right now.

pink glitter roll neckgrey pearl

I am a huge fan of jumper dresses in the Autumn and Winter, paired with black tights and knee high boots and these two caught my eye this week. I love the richness of the red roll neck dress, it was on the hanger as an off the shoulder dress but kept slipping up off the shoulders so I styled it as a roll neck and think it looks pretty nice. And lastly this white cable knit, bell sleeved dress took me by surprise on how comfortable it was to wear and how much I liked it even with the bare leg, although tights are a must in the weather and all deniers, designs and colours are in-store too to match up to your choosing.

I’d love to see you over on Facebook or Instagram too so check my pages out @Dodeestodaquiris and we can share all our bargain picks for the kids and Mammy alike there too. Have a lovely weekend everyone:)

One for him, one for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion

I have just about made it in for Friday due to gremlins being at play but better late than never! I have posted over on my Instagram and Facebook pages (@Dodeestodaquiris) this week how I had huge success with the Marks & Spencers sale and now the many many packages arrived I wanted to share a few pieces with you that I picked up for the kids.

First up for the boys, no Christmas is complete without a Christmas shirt and this navy Santa print does the job and will be perfect for one of the kiddies Christmas parties they will go to over the holidays with a pair of jeans paired with it. How cute is the print!

ms xmas shirtNext up is this lovely Dinosaur print tracksuit. The dinosaur is a fluffy motif which is great for little men who love the sense of touch. I love the mustard detail in the band of the pants ,matching into the jumper. My little man is obsessed with pockets and will love this star print hoodie which is fleece lined and has the obligatory pockets for hiding his little toys in.

This grey checkered shirt is lovely, soft and cost on the inside to keep your little boy warm. I think this will be fab with a pair of faded grey jeans and also more formally over a pair of wine chinos.ms shirt grey

And lastly I wanted to pick up another warm cardigan that would keep my son warm in the car on the morning rush to playschool and this beautiful red one fits the bill. There are no strings on the hood to be pulled out ( bonus!)ms red hoodie

I popped into Outfit for kids in the Dorothy Perkins store in Limerick to see had they updated their stock since opening and found a few new pieces in-store. This navy jumper with star shirt collar underneath caught my eye as a perfect Christmas day outfit and this navy knit hoodie would layer over perfectly.

Popping by Zara I had to pick up this long sleeved top for my little artist, at only €4.99 it is a steal!

For him and her, both bargains from M&S I needed Winter gear if we get cold weather and snow and these snowsuits fit the bill perfectly. I picked these up for twenty euro each, a complete bargain! Fleece lined and waterproof ,the weather won’t stop us from venturing out for walks in the cold. You can see the reflective zips here too which are great for when dusk falls when out and about from a safety perspective.snowsuits

For her this week from my Marks and Spencers haul here are the lovely pieces I picked up.  I love knit dresses on little girls with boots and chunky tights. Add a cute print into the equation and M&S have hit the spot with this beautiful cloud motif  frill shoulder, knit dress. I will pair this with the grey tights (not pictured) that came with it and these stunning silver sparkle boots I picked up for twenty euro in the sale. I love these boots as they are a very versatile colour and will go under a variety of colours.

I was pleasantly surprised when I unpacked this pink “Smile” jumper and dress as I had believed it to be an all in one piece. However the striped piece is a sleeveless dress, meaning I have two outfits in one as both could be worn with other pieces for different looks.

I need this in an adult version please! This cobalt blue sparkle frill dress is fabulous and will grow with your little girl from a dress now with tights to a tunic later as she grows taller with leggings underneath.Same goes for this lovely Peter Pan denim collared dress.ms blue dressms denim

And lastly from M&S for herself is this rich pink, sparkly, fleece lined cardigan, again another in-car purchase ,guaranteed to keep my little girl cosy on the school run.ms hoodie pink

In Outfit for kids in Dorothy Perkins, this cute little fox in a pocket pink jumper caught my eye in the girls section, I would love this over a little skirt or skinny cords.

And pairing this beautiful cream, fur lined coat from Penneys for younger girls your little woman would be all set to brave the elements,in style.penneys girls coat

For Mammy this week ,I abstained from the M&S haul and confined that to shopping for the kids and picking up some Christmas presents but I did see the following pieces out and about during the week.

In Penneys I fell in love with the colour of this pleather jacket and was impressed with the softness of the material. I didn’t add to my collection as it is the wrong time of year for short coats in my opinion but if you were on the market then you can’t go wrong with this.

Popping into Dorothy Perkins and with Christmas party season and outfits firmly in mind ,these jeans are top of my wish list! Pop over to my IG stories and Facebook page for a video on the sparkle, they are amazing! If you are brave enough to wear them during the day you could dampen them down a little with this beautiful cream floral print jumper or if it is Christmas jumper day in the office, this Penguin jumper is one that someone has to buy me, given my penguin obsession! This leather floral embroidered skirt also has twenty percent off at the moment and will suit lots of different looks to get you through the Winter period.I paired it with the floral jewelled jumper here for a more casual look .dp sparkly jeans

Another wish to my Christmas list is this box chain black handbag in Dorothy Perkins.dp bag black

In Zara this week I spotted a few pieces that would not suit me but I really liked all the same. This pink  jewelled coat is  gorgeous and would be beautiful over the green floral dress and skirt with skirt combo pictured here. The long space themed black dress is a beautiful print and would be fab with a black leather jacket over it.

I love this grey pearl studded blouse and the grey pearl jumper is a steal at only €17.99 and so soft to wear ,its the ultimate cosy jumper. Both would be lovely paired over leathers or skinny jeans.zara grey shirtzara pearl grey

Bags are high on my wish list for Christmas and either of these two beauties from Zara would put a big smile on my face. I love the yellow ring bag and was surprised by how spacious it is inside. The deep wine studded bag is a perfect bad to blend in with this seasons colours.

Stop all your looking I have found THE Christmas party dress and skirt if you are brave enough!Oh the sparkle is just devine!zara sparkle dresszara sparkle skirtzara sparkle dresszara sparkle skirt

And lastly, grab yourself a bargain and invest in one of Zara’s well known best sellers. They really are the Queen of Biker jackets. I have a few leather and suede one’s from Zara and this mustard suede coat is not only gorgeous but a steal at €29.99!

Run now:)

Have a great weekend everyone !

One for him, one for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion

Well that was a quick week wasn’t it! Halloween is over and lots are going into Christmas overdrive.

Here is a sneak peek at our Halloween costume this year, I was the Mother of “twin dragons” , the twins loved their dragon costumes which I picked up from Amazon a few months earlier, so I avoided the over inflated costume costs close to October, the costumes were a little short on the ankles however as the kids went through growth spurts but sure they were rolling around the ground for the most part so all was good in the end.

I am sticking mainly with the Christmas theme for the kids again this week and spotted another few pieces around that would make lovely holiday outfits.

First up for boys in Dunnes, for a more formal look I think this red jumper with check collar is a very sweet look, paired over the navy cords pictured below or even the suspender belted jeans for a more dressed down look. Rugby shirts are the perfect go between and these two stag motif ones will dress up and down accordingly also with the cords and jeans. Lastly I bought this jumper in the sale last year for only four euro and its back in stock now again for Christmas, I love it over these suspender belted jeans and would pair this outfit with brown ankle lace up boots for a little edgier look for boys.

For casual wear, this little “stay cool” jumper caught my eye and how fab is this bright mustard coat, perfect for spotting your little man in a busy playground. I found another fleece lined checkered shirt in a lovely red colour perfect for outdoor Santa visits to keep your boys warm but cool looking!

For girls in Dunnes this week , I fell in love with this houndstooth print skirt for girls. I have a pink frill cosy knit from Penneys I will pair this skirt with but it would be gorgeous with this gold trimmed pink knit from Dunnes or with a cream polo and cable knit tights over a pair of ankle boots. houndstooth skirtdunnes skirt and jumper houndstooth

for an edgier look this black tulle dress is more stunning in real life, the delicate embroidery on the black tulle overdress is gorgeous and perfectly paired with a gold or black sparkle cardigan.dunnes black party dress.jpg

Another party dress that caught my eye was this gold and black houndstooth dress in a more traditional style but very cute !dunnes houndstooth dress.jpg

And lastly for girls in Dunnes in the Paul Costello collection I adore this Peter pan collared top and skirt, sold as separates. The great thing about these is you can mix and match them for lots of different outfits long after Christmas and dress them up or down.dunnes pc 1dunnes pc 2

For Mammy this week , I snuck in a quick lunch time trip to Zara and tried on a few pieces I had seen online and also featured in the blog recently.

First up was the Zara lace swing dress that comes in navy and red,I didn’t see the red instore but would be tempted to buy it as I found the navy a little dull on me. However it is the perfect Christmas day dress, very very comfortable, lots of room for dinner and drinks and you still look dressy.zara navy lace.jpg

I was so disappointed with this dress, and I will always show the good the bad and the fugly on me so here goes…

I loved this dress online on the model but this is why you can never judge until you try it on . I think this dress would be stunning on a less curvy and taller person. If the arms were less poufy it would have been a far nicer dress I think.zara tulle.jpg

I love Zaras knits and their knit dresses , they’re extremely comfortable and not pricey and perfect again as a Christmas day dress and beyond. This cream pearl dress is big fitting( this was a medium) and comes in this lovely cream and also a beautiful camel colour.

zara pearls cream.jpg

Another pearl detail dress that caught my eye, was this red longer length dress, again big fitting( I tried a medium) but a contender for a comfy Christmas dress.

zara red pearls.jpg

This is a fab coatigan in Zara right now at the moment too, wear simply over jeans and a knit with a coloured scarf for a cosy Winter look.

And lastly in Zara ,I own a pair of leather shorts from Zara for years and think they are the perfect night out wear when you are sick of dresses or jeans. They are so versatile and can be dressed with lovely cosy knits or a glitzy top.

I tried these shorts on with the black and white lace insert blouse and whilst these sequin tops would be too loud for my taste I think they would be stunning over them as an alternative Christmas party outfit with black ankle stiletto boots.

Back to Dunnes for women this week , I am loving their coats and throws at the moment. These few in particular caught my eye and were reasonably priced too.

I love this mint green frill knit from Savida and this floral embroidered mini skirt in their normal range, they are the perfect Winter clothes to layer up and down with other pieces. They would look lovely together but the jumper would also be stunning over some of the knee length PU skirts in-store right now and the recent mustard frill knits in Penneys would go with this skirt beautifully.dunnes turquoise frill jumperdunnes skirt floral

And that is it for this week, hopefully you have spotted something that might suit you or the kids over the coming holiday season and I will hopefully get out a bit more over the weekend to see what else is starting to come in stock to stores. Have a lovely weekend xx

One for him, one for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion.

Somewhere I forget for our little men because their store section is small  in Limerick is Boots. Whenever I am in store it reminds me of their online shop where you can get just about anything, amongst the many things on offer are the most gorgeous clothes!

These are just a few pieces in the Limerick store right now. A sucker as always for checkered shirts this would be lovely with a stone-wash denim or deep black chino over the Christmas. The alien long sleeved top was lovely and warm with a fun print and the navy and red jumper is for the cutest little men in our lives!boots boyboots boy 2boots boy 3

When I went home that evening I went online and was pleased to see that the kids pyjamas were included in the buy one get one half price offer. I ordered these Christmas pyjamas for the twins and as always the quality impresses me. They are not fleece lined but extremely cosy and soft to touch for sensitive skin. The tartan pants on both are really soft too and I love the little sparkle going through the girls bottoms.

Heatons continue to impress me with their boys collections, and these are just a few pieces in the shops now, perfect for any space obsessed toddlers with lots of rocket prints. The long sleeved tops range from only four euro to some of the jumpers coming in at only seven euro, perfect for playwear/playschool.

There are far too many Christmassy clothing in Heatons for boys currently so here are a few tops and jumpers I liked .I love the little dickie bow on the polar bear jumper!

But the real surprise for me this week was stumbling onto a new childrens clothing shop in Limerick! I popped into Dorothy Perkins on Childers road Limerick and discovered the most adorable kids clothing line called Outfit in the Dorothy Perkins section. I could have filled my camera with pictures but was only on a quick lunch stop so I will be heading back here over the weekend to get a proper look but here is a sample of what is  in store for boys. There was lots of cosy knits and they feel to be really good quality . The finishing details of buttons on the red knit jumper is gorgeous. There is plenty of checkered shirts, monochrome pieces and the most cool red lightning bolt tracksuit which will brighten up any miserable rainy day! And how cool is the little blazer, it would be fab with a white shirt and grey jeans for a dressy outfit over Christmas.outfit boys red jumperoutfit boys blazeroutfit boys triooutfit boys red track

Boots always have the most beautiful Christmas knits for children. I was raging these two pieces were not in the kids size the day I was in , especially when they were in their baby event offer of buy one get one free. These are in the Mini range so for anyone with babies and younger toddlers I would snap these up quick online or in the shops.

Can we just take a second to lust over this little girls fleece lined coat in Heatons for only twenty euro! How fab would it be be paired with the navy embroidered dress on the left, tights and brown ankle boots on any little girl!

26th heatons girls mix.jpg

Two Christmas girls items here, with a really cute pyjamas set for only ten euro and a reindeer bauble Christmas jumper. I love Heatons rainbow print range for girls and this pinafore is one I haven’t seen before and would be lovely on with tights and boots for cosy playwear.

I mentioned the new childrens shop Outfit in the Dorothy Perkins store in Limerick One on Childers road and I think I have fallen in love with every single girls piece in there. there was jumpers, jeans, tutus, dresses in all shades and these were a few of my favourite pieces.

This knit, tulle dress comes in both an edgier black print or the cream and gold version ,both equally gorgeous. And this little leopard print tunic dress also comes in a long sleeved top which could be paired with dark denims beautifully.

I think I squealed out loud when I saw this little girls coat!! It is just divine, there are no words. Ok it seems to only be in size 5 and up but I will be back to see if it can be ordered in a smaller size, I need herself to have this.outfit girls yellow

Heatons continue to catch my eye with their lace dresses and these two beauties (which was out in lemon during the Summer)will see you through any event or party over the Christmas and well into next year.

Only for I have Penneys version of this dress which came out earlier this year, I would have bought this embroidered dress. It will look as good bare legged with stiletto boots and a leather jacket  for a night out to paired with thick cosy black knit tights and ankle boots for a casual day look.26th heatons black floral.jpg

Another two lovely smock dresses in Heatons perfect for this time of year are these navy leopard print and floral dresses.

heatons dresses women.jpg

In Dorothy Perkins once I dragged myself away from the kids section I spotted these red beauties! They would be lovely matching under both these knit dresses during Winter and colder months. A knit jumper dress is a wardrobe staple and cable knit is a classic piece ,plus it’s on offer too! The cream jumper dress has a lovely flared cuff and also has 20% off at the moment.

I cannot wait to enjoy the bank holiday weekend and dress up with the kids. We have over the years had some really good dress up parties, no matter what the occasion and this Halloween we have one costume theme for the four of us which we all love. So happy Halloween everyone and have a lovely bank holiday weekend in Ireland.
