One for him, one for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion

Happy Friday, I bet no-one is indoors this evening with that beautiful sunshine outside. I have a few picks from around the shops this week to show you and I have managed to squeeze in some hot weather looks aswell ,incase you are reluctant to drag the Summer clothes down from the attic.

I popped into H&M and they never disappoint with their boys clothes, they have some really cute T-shirts and shorts in their ever popular organic cotton 3 for 2 range. I love these whale print T-shirt and jumper which would be gorgeous over  the little denim shorts here, or pair these two shirts for a more dressed up look for your little man.

I love this world map T-shirt and animal navy print shirt also in H&M and these striped shorts will mix and match nicely. I love the navy belt with the shorts for a more dressed up look,  and belts are always handy for  narrow hipped boys.

In M&S how adorable are these T-shirts! I love the animal pocket shirt, each flap has a different animal noise print and it is perfect for storing shells in after a day on the beach.

This granda collar T-shirt and jean shorts set, is made of the softest denim and the T-shirt sets would pair lovely with the shorts aswell.

As always in Ireland it is worthwhile investing in a rain mac and I love this striped navy one and dinosaur print coat.

I couldn’t resist showing you some of the gorgeous baby boys clothes in-store in M+S. Rompers are adorable on baby boys and I love these three in particular.

Isn’t this koala jumper so cute! And I love this monkey T-shirt with striped hoodie for colder evenings.

If you are on the hunt for a suit for your little boy for Communion then I saw this beautiful suit in River Island , it comes in either navy or grey and has a matching waistcoat. it is very reasonably priced for the quality of the suit.

In Heatons for girls I love this sparkly heart jumper and how cute is this little hummingbird tutu. I also saw these pink studded cowboy boots for girls which would be lovely with this outfit.

In H&M I just love this cotton beach dress with rope neckline, perfect for hot days. The girls clothes in H&M are extremely reasonable, some are perfect for days on the beach where you don’t mind sun lotion stains as these two dresses (leopard print and unicorn) are only a small selection of about ten different prints ranging from €3.99 to part of their 3 for 2 collection.

For any unicorn obsessed girls these sandals in H&M are a must!

For a more dressy Summer look these three dresses are really cute and range from €9.99 to under €14. I love the strawberry print of the middle bow dress.

This giraffe frill sleeved T-shirt is really lovely and pairs gorgeously with the coral skirt pictured, or wear over a pair of leggings for running around in. This animal print grey dress is perfect for girls who don’t like pink! and this bug jumper is perfect for cooler days.

In M&S for girls, their dresses and jumpsuits are really cute. I love the alpaca jumpsuits  T-shirts and dresses range and I spotted this coral dress and coral frilled sleeved dress aswell which would be perfect for days out in the sun.

Again I had to show some of the baby girls range in M&S ,it is just too cute! Alapacas feature again in this little T-shirt and the floral cream blouses are so pretty.

The cord bird print dress with tights is so pretty and for a more traditional dress look how lovely is this peter pan collared dress! The turquoise feather dress is very sweet and denim dungarees are always adorable on little baby girls.

For women this week I popped into River Island and fell in love with these lazer cut white toeless boots. These gold strappy sandals and cream boots caught my eye aswell, perfect shades for this time of year.  This blue cross body bag will go with everything and is a fab Spring shade!

I put together these three tops which would be gorgeous over this sixties inspired skirt in-store in River Island right now. I adore the sparkle on the kimono blouse and this pink twist neck blouse is a bargain at twenty five euro. I spotted this cowl wrap neck top on The S-Mum( A Donegal blogger) and it is just beautiful and would be as nice over a pair of skinny jeans.

As always I had to show a leather jacket and whilst green isn’t a colour I generally buy I love this bottle green biker in-store right now.

I fell in love with the longer length bikers River Island have in-store right now, but at just under one hundred euro I am not sure on the cost and would wait for a sale or discount code to purchase, but they are gorgeous!

River Island have this beautiful blue and white dress in Limerick currently, pair with the blue bag pictured above and the white lazer cut boots for an edgier look.

Zara have some beautiful pieces coming in on a constant basis ,it is hard to keep up with all that is arriving in-store. For any events coming up these pink coats would be lovely over a dress and could be dressed down with jeans later in the year.

Zara have another new  leather coat style in-store in all colors and the red in particular caught my eye. I am in love with this cobalt blue blazer and really need to go back and purchase this as it is just a stunning colour and fit beautifully.20180414_12221720180414_123502

There are so many gorgeous dresses coming in ,here are a few of my favourites in-store in Limerick right now.

This polka dot dress in particular would be gorgeous day or night with a leather biker and boots for a more dressed down look or a bare leg and strappy black sandals for evening wear.20180414_122731

This dress is perfect for workwear at only nineteen euro, layer a blazer over for a more formal look.20180414_122539

This pearl button denim dress is a perfect day-time holiday dress when you are out and about .20180414_122428

How fab is the pink sparkle skirt! wear with a simple black cami and biker and let the skirt do all the talking. And there are no words for this peplum dress and biker, I just adore them!!

This picture doesn’t do this red front split dress in Zara justice, it is stunning and I can imagine it as a perfect Communion/Confirmation day dress for women.

This casual shirt caught my eye , paired with a pair of short over the summer there is a fab little bit of bling on it.20180414_122104

If skirts are more your thing, I love this side knot skirt.

The neckline on these two knit tops are just beautiful and they would pair with shorts or skinnies perfectly.

There are lots of lovely chain bags in Zara right now, and this pale pink studded clutch will match with lots of outfits.

Lastly I just adore these black lace boots in Zara, wear them with dresses, skirts ,leathers, jeans, they are the perfect take you anywhere boots!

So I hope you all have fun in the sun this weekend and making memories:)

One for him, one for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion.

Hi everyone, as you know if you follow my main blog I have had a little break over the Easter ,spending time with family and the kids and we had a really lovely break and a digital detox never does anyone any harm.

I have a few pieces to show you that I picked up in the Mothercare sale for the kids and some new in-store pieces from Dunnes and Zara.

First up I got some fab bits for B in the Mothercare sale. As you all know by now I always take advantage of Mothercare’s sales when they come around and buy the next size up, I love the quality of their clothes, the prints are fab and best of all they wash really well.

I love the bright Roarsome print of this cotton top for Spring/Summer. I am sure you can sense a theme here as most of the pieces I bought are dinosaur themed ,but how can you leave behind this cute little granda collared T-shirt and how adorable will this shirt be over a pair of chino shorts in the Summer. I also love this lighthouse polo shirt and whale t-shirt ,perfect for Summer or layered with a long sleeved top in this current weather.

In Dunnes this week the bright colours continue to come in-store and this T-shirt and hoodie caught my eye. I am as always a sucker for a granda collar and love this dotty one, it would be fab over the coloured denims or chinos for more formal wear.

For girls in Mothercare I got this polka dot, leggings set for herself in the sale along with this really cute bunny motiff grey pinafore dress and pink t-shirt. When I put this on A I will take a picture over on Instagram as it was hard to take a pic quickly this evening with the fading light.  I picked up another pair of the cat jeggings and this cute T-shirt matches perfectly.

polkapinnytshirt and jeggings

The cat knees are now also in a granda style jeans for girls for only ten euro( bargain!), and in new stock this denim frill dress is so so pretty, and only twenty five euro.

Dunnes girls this week is just a riot of gorgeous floral prints , the navy floral dress is beautiful and can be paired now with leggings and bare legged with brown sandals in the summer. Remember this dress style in the tweed at Christmas, it is now in a blue print and would be beautiful with any of the lovely white blouses in-store. I thought these floral pants and checkered blouse would be a gorgeous contrast together.  Last but not least how adorable is this strawberry swimsuit!

Popping into Born Clothing for women , I love this navy tea dress, the floaty sleeves means it will bring you right through the year, bare legged during the Summer, and with tights and knee high boots in the colder months. This pink frill dress would be a lovely nude dress to wear for any occasion coming up and layer any of the multitude of blazers around at the moment, or for an edgier look a suede biker jacket would be gorgeous with it.

I love this floral cami and denim shirt in-store and they would be lovely worn together or paired over any of the leather pants Born do so well. Always on the lookout for casual knits, this red wrap jumper from Vila would be lovely over jeans or leathers alike.

I think this red dress from Zara is the ultimate traditional tea dress, I adore the sleeves on this and can’t wait to get into the shops to try it on.
You can’t go wrong with the stripy frilled striped dress for the Summer, wear a denim shirt over it for a more casual look or maybe this jersey biker coat (which I love!) and wedges for an evening look in the Summer.

The short sleeved versions of Zara’s twenty euro rubber dresses have arrived in time for Summer, and I love the print of these two in particular. These dresses are so comfortable, I have the long sleeved dresses and will definitely be getting a few Short sleeved dresses for the Summer.

Have a lovely weekend and I hope the sun is shining where-ever you are:)

One for him, one for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion

Lots to show you all this week as I was sick last Friday and thankfully on the mend now.We are officially on holidays for Easter and I am looking forward to the slowing down of the days and not face that mad rush every morning to get the kids and ourselves out the door:)

First up for boys this week as always in Zara their boys clothes are just so adorable. Hopefully this T-shirt won’t be the only bit of sun we will see over the holiday weekend. But if the cold does come then how cute is this yellow hoodie and yellow knit in-store for boys. I also spotted this cool sequined jumper in the boy’s department but its a jumper I could see little girls loving too.

In Dunnes they have some fab prints in their boys shirts and I bought these coral pineapple ones for himself. I also love this palm tree print too. I like these closed toe sandals in Dunnes aswell and there is a huge range in sizes currently in stock.

Two jumpers for boys that caught my eye were this green brave print jumper and how lovely is this “Little one” jumper, out of picture are a gorgeous rust coloured pants which both these would be lovely paired with.

In Tesco this would be a lovely Summers evening outfit for your little dude. The shirt would also be fab with these denim roll-up shorts.

In Penneys for boys the range is still so small compared to what I see around the country ! but I liked these camo runners, sandals and T-Shirt in-store.

This black denim shirt and T-shirt combination would be lovely paired over any of these coloured pants, but the yellow would be a really nice Summery look.20180328_12115120180328_121303

How gorgeous is this M&S girls dress, it just screams Summer, I cannot wait for herself to wear it and take pictures in the blue skies! I also picked up this frill collared cotton summer dress there.

In Penneys these sandals are so pretty and I like this blue checkered blouse which would be lovely now over jeans and paired with shorts in the Summer.

Yes it is shocking pink and leather but I reckon any little girl can rock this biker jacker in Penneys right now.

I have fallen in love with this white frill coat for girls in Zara and only wish I had an occasion coming up for my little girl to wear this and wouldn’t mind if it came in my size too. This little denim skirt would be lovely paired with a simple white T-shirt. This red sleeveless floral dress would be nice now with a long sleeved top underneath and bare armed in the warmer weather.

Dunnes have as always some lovely pieces for girls. This coral raincoat is perfect for the current weather habits! If the sun does come out then both these floral dresses are really cute for sunny days.

Penneys are outdoing themselves with their handbags lately. I  love this pink box bag and how different is this blue, rope handled pouch bag! You can’t go wrong with these brown and black totes either!

I love denim dresses any time of year and both of these dresses will look as good with cable knit tights and cardigan or flats and a sunhat.

This brown suede skirt is also a skirt that will take you all year round.

I love these scalloped edged shorts in pink and blue and this sky blue floral print dress is stunning on!20180323_10213520180323_100739

I have seem this striped jumpsuit on loads of people hence the reason why there were only a few left in-store, it’s lovely for day excursions on holidays.20180323_100704

There are loads of blouses coming into Penneys and this red one is very pretty and will go with jeans, shorts and skirts. It would be gorgeous with white skinny jeans and wedges.20180323_100604

And for the ever changing weather isn’t this heart print raincoat from Penneys lovely.20180323_102220

I bought this striped sundress in Zara for under fourteen euro and it comes in leopard print and polka dots aswell. It is extremely comfortable and layer a cardigan over it for cooler days.

I really like this brighter print V neck dress floral dress in Zara.

In the TRF range in Zara I love this bomber jacket and this striped camisole top is so pretty. The skort is back in Zara and both these would be fab paired with this white one in-store.

Newlook have some lovely pieces in-store and both these dresses are perfect day-wear for Summer.

Savida in Dunnes have this lovely lace sleeveless top in white and blue, wear over a leather skirt or a simple pair of skinnies.

I love this coral criss crossed back dress in Savida and this pale pink bag would be lovely with this dress and a barely there strappy heel.20180329_16210820180329_162143

Warehouse is full of gorgeous colourful dresses and jumpsuits at the moment , from this coral laser cut dress to the striped jumpsuit and dress there is a dress for everyone. I love this blue floaty dress and the mustard open back jumpsuit is stunning on.

If you like shirt dresses then this Mango one will fit the bill for a bright Spring look.

I have fallen in love with this frill sleeved leather jacket in Coast, at just under one hundred euro it isn’t cheap but it is so soft and the pale pink lining is stunning. I will be lusting after this for months to come.

Happy Easter and have a lovely bank holiday weekend everyone:)

One for him, one for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion

Happy Friday, St Patrick’s day in advance and long weekend:) I was zooming around the high street shops on my lunch breaks desperately trying to find the twins green hues of clothing for St. Patrick’s day so snapped a few pictures of cute kids clothing as I was whizzing by.

Marks and Spencers currently have a 50% off sale online and in store, I couldn’t resist this grey turtle shirt and colourful grey hooded shirt. I love a roll sleeve on boys clothing, meaning they can be layered in colder weather like the pictures here or during the Summer ,worn with sleeves rolled up . This cute navy roar print sweatshirt is very cute aswell.

Popping into Heatons their Summer clothes for boys are starting to come in and their T-shirts are extremely cute! I particularly love the two pack bird set, and how adorable are these chino anchor shorts, retailing at thirteen euro.

Pair any of the looks above with these ridiculously cute sneakers for boys in Heatons in space and animal prints.

And lastly you can’t buy for Summer in Ireland without buying a raincoat, this grey and blue car print coat will fit the bill perfectly.

I bet you know where I went next. of course it was Mothercare and that ever recognisable Little bird by Jools Oliver rainbow padded gillet. I am very tempted to buy the twins one each, I love gillets in any season.

If you have a little boy then you might find this My K by Mylene Klass boys jumper in Mothercare very cute. I have to say I could buy this for both Aoibhínn and Brían as both are happy collecting random items in their pockets.

This dinosaur print polo shirt and joggers are perfect for your dinosaur obsessed boy, there is a long sleeved jumper also, not in picture.

Dinosaurs are definitely a theme for boys in Mothercare with this little yellow dinosaur motif on the blue polo shirt and white short sleeved shirt pictured below. Both these and the pirate T-shirt would be lovely with the chino shorts below.

Checkered shirts are back with white going through them , again you are buying two looks here with tops layered under both this black and white checkered shirt and blue and yellow dinosaur shirt combination.

In the Marks and Spencer sale this pom pom skirted dress caught my eye in the 50% off sale, aswell as this pink unicorn print frill dress and beautiful white frill sleeved dress. There are lots more very pretty dresses in the sale so it is worth having a look online for the Summer holidays.

I spotted this lovely lighthouse print fleece lined raincoat in Heatons for girls, perfect for cooler days out exploring and both these floral boots and pink gold starred boots would be lovely with skinny jeans or dresses alike.

Again I bet you recognise the brand. How gorgeous is this pinafore dress (straps not pictured) I have the little purple short sleeved knit pictured behind this dress for Aoibhínn and am very tempted to purchase this pinafore to go with it. I love the cheery prints in this range in Mothercare’s Little bird by Jools Oliver.

I only wish this dress was in adult size, it is such a nod to the 60’s and would be so sweet on girls. Pair with white cable knit tights and a yellow cardigan to pick up on the yellow piped collar now and later in the year a pair of tan brogues would be gorgeous with this dress.

In the My K by Mylene Klass range it was generally more muted colours which are lovely and in particular I liked this bunny tunic/dress.

Another perfect dress for this time of year is this heart motif dress and wear this cute coral mouse dress with a long sleeved top underneath for now and as is pictured on sunny days.

This yellow dress is so pretty and cheerful for Summertime, also from Mothercare.

In Penneys for girls this navy and white striped dress is a lovely Summer dress and in their occasion wear range this Little Stitches daisy detail cardigan and tutu ( which is also in blush pink) are lovely. This icre-cream cone ra ra skirt is cheap and cheerful at only three euro and a perfect Summer slip on over a swimsuit on the beach.

In Tesco for girls I loved this gingham shorts and top set and the cream laced cold shoulder dress. The daisy embroidered pinafore with little T-shirt underneath could also be worn with this layered motif blouse and on rainy days pair this navy bow raincoat over it to keep the rain away.

For women this week in Tesco I love this mustard waterproof jacket  great for when you are out and about with the kids and want to keep the rain off you.

I also spotted this denim embroidered off the shoulder dress in Tesco, a perfect holiday day or evening dress.

Marks and Spencers have this beautiful multi coloured off the shoulder dress in-store and this white floral handbag would pair together with white laser pumps. This cheesecloth dress is perfect for layering with a loose cami or over swimwear after a day on the beach.

In Penneys this  yellow floral jumpsuit is a bargain at only eighteen euro and the pink floral tea dress is one that will bring you from Spring to Summer worn with tights now and bare legged later on. I loved this mustard floral buttoned skirt, worn with a simple white T-shirt and brown cross body bad and flats ,it’s a perfect Summers day look.

Colour dresses are really starting to come into Penneys rails now and these two red tea dress caught my eye. All of these dresses are under sixteen euro. The black polka dots dress can be worn with this black blazer, also in store now for twenty-three euro and with a bright knit layered over it for a more casual look. The frill wrap dress has a discreet button which is fantastic that Penneys have listened to us larger busted customers who love their wrap dresses but had issues with some styles up to now!

Lastly how pretty are these open black dresses from H&M.

Whatever you are up to this weekend, whether it’s a normal weekend if you are reading from outside Ireland or you have a weekend full of all things green, I hope it is a good one 🙂

One for him, one for her & one for Mammy. Friday fashion.

What a week it has been. The snow continued to cause havoc for lots of the country with huge snow drifts still being cleared down in the South East. Yesterday was International womens day, a day where women came out in force to celebrate those who mean the most to them, those who inspire them and with messages overall that we still have a long way to go as women took to the streets in Ireland to continue to ask for a date for the referendum to repeal the 8th amendment here in Ireland. Sickness has been in the house with no-one escaping and I have pretty much been bed bound from mid week onwards!

I did however pay a trip into Boots earlier in the week and as always when I do get instore I am reminded how much I love Boot’s mini club clothing.  The Limerick store has a tiny section for clothing, which is a pity and it’s hidden at the back of the store, which means I tend to forget it is even there as I pass the shop door but I did swerve pleasantly towards the childrens clothing as I went in to pick up some medicine for the kids.

First up for boys it is all about cute prints in store, these are a few of my favourites of what is on the rails.  This lizard print hoodie should make any little boy happy to pair with his jeans or shorts over the summer, maybe with the white insect short sleeved shirt which would be adorable with chino shorts. For fresh Spring days I love this bright green animal print rain jacket and this set of three long sleeved animal print tops

Online  on the Boots website these pieces from Fearne Cottons range caught my eye. How cute is this grafitt print sweatshirt and joggers! And this matching bomber jacket which is reversible to a green print with a star logo is fab, I love the idea of two coats in one for boys especially, given they are muck magnets

On ICLothing I love this little plane print sweat cardigan( also comes in grey) and these combat pocket pants.

Over in the girls, this mustard floral print dress is a lovely dress which can be worn with tights for now and paired later with navy leggings when the weather warms up.  This turquoise banded party dress with its bird prind is adorable and would make a lovely dress for over Easter with a chunky knit cardigan layered over and later in the year worn bare sleeved with little white T bar sandals.

The blue, coral rimmed neckline floral dress I would pair a long sleeved top underneath with a gillet over for now and worn on its own in warmer weather, or paired with leggings in a bright coral colour as your little girl grows and it becomes more tunic length.

And lastly in Boots in-store this gold and cream party dress is so lovely, the picture doesn’t do the dress justice but its a perfect little occasion dress.

Popping online for a look on Boots given the limited range in-store and there are fabulous pieces ,well worth a look there such as the following cat dress from the Fearne Cotton collaboration.

cats 1.jpg

They also have a reversible bomber jacket for girls aswell in this lovely khaki green cat motiff with reversible pink inside, this is such a great idea!

On Iclothing for girls if you are looking for an occasion dress for your little girl I think this tulle crochet dress is a little different and so pretty!

This coral print top and grey skinny jean is a really cute look for little girls on Iclothing currently.

Zara are throwing out dresses left right and centre and it is hard to keep up with how

quick they are updating their website with new stock this week. These dresses have caught my eye as perfect Spring Summer dresses.

This blue smock laser cut detailed dress is just so pretty. Wear on its own on hotter days with a pair of simple brown sandals or converse and for now you could pair a pair of really skinny dark blue jeans underneath.

blue zara

This mustard dress is gorgeous and perfect for now. I love the lace like detail at the end of the sleeve and this dress with a leather biker and black ankle boots would take you from day to night!

mustard zara

If you are lucky enough to be heading away then this white floral embroidered dress is perfect once you have a little tan on your legs or wear now with a black tight for contrast .

Zara lace dress 49.99

Zara always have fantastic rubberised dresses for under the twenty euro mark and this smocked V neck floral print dress is a bargain . I have the long sleeved versions of this dress that came out last year and they are so comfortable to wear and always get compliments when I wear them.

white rubber dress

You can’t go wrong with a simple striped dress during the Spring, Summer. Paired with converse and layer a denim shirt open over the dress and its an effortlessly smart casual look perfect for days out with the family.

zara striped dress

I love this parka, which comes in black and beige aswell new instore, its that perfect inbetween rain coat and not too heavy for when the temperatures rise.

Ok it is one of the more expensive Zara bikers at €79 but can we take a second for this studded fringed suede beauty! I have some of their cheaper bikers and they are as good as the day I bought them several years later . These coats go with everything and are a must have!

zara jacket 3

If you are not brave enough for the tassles, here is their pink suede version for 2018. How pretty is it! Or maybe the navy ? Both would be lovely over this heron print silk dress with a bare leg and ankle boots.

Happy Friday and have a lovely weekend everyone xx

One for him, one for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion

I must have known last weekend that we would be housebound this week with the snow as I popped into Dunnes and Born in the Parkway shopping centre after our swimming lesson and found a few beauties for women and kids in both shops.

Dunnes continue to impress me with their childrens clothing, anytime I go instore there is new stock and everything is really cute and age appropriate. The boys section never fails and has plenty of choice. As always I am a sucker for Mustard and funky joggers for boys. These Zara-esque joggers with knee patches and digger print my little man loved and made them home with us, and as I think he is indeed a little legend I couldn’t resist this sweatshirt.

dunnes jumper

How cute is the camo onesie perfect for this weather!

They also have the jogger bottoms in a playground print and I love this star hoodie tracksuit set for boys.

These three lighter Spring coats caught my eye. The orange and yellow windsheeters are really cute.

For girls this week I had to buy this gorgeous floral print dress. The little fluted sleeves are gorgeous and this is a really pretty Spring Summer print.

dunnes girls floral dress

This frill denim jacket would be gorgeous over the floral dress or paired with this beautiful yellow butterfly dress. The yellow is actually really vibrant and you can see it at the bottom of the denim coat picture. This is a perfect Easter dress and will see your little girl right through Summer paired with white leggings for colder days.

I love pinafores on little girls and this green one is lovely. The bee print fluted sleeved top underneath would also be fab over a simple pair of skinny jeans or shorts later in the year. I love when you get an outfit that you can mix and match with. Right now you could layer a polo neck under the dress with cable knit tights for the colder weather.

Two other tops that would be lovely with jeans or under the floral print pinafore are these floral striped blouse and this Yeah print sequined jumper.

How cute are these rainbow sparkly shoes for girls, I may have to go back and purchase these for my little girl, they will mix and match with lots !20180225_174324

I know this top is for older girls( wish it was in the youngers girls and women !) but it is like something you would see in Zara for women. I love the embroidered sleeves on this top.

In Dunnes for women this week I need this handbag, long strap, studs and flowers, what else do you need.dunnes bag white

This blue knit dress is perfect for this weather and such a classic dress it will see you everywhere! A little biker jacket and statement necklace would totally transform this dress.Savida blue knit dress

I just love this pink laser cut daisy dress which also comes in blue. It is a perfect occasion dress.

savida pink daisy

In Gallery these two jumpers caught my eye as perfect downtime wear over skinny jeans.

It is probably a good thing that there isn’t a Born in the Cresent shopping centre in Limerick as I would have to buy something every time I was there. I just love the brands they stock and no matter what the occasion I always see plenty of beautiful pieces in store. Born is in the Parkway shopping centre, I don’t get there too often but I will try and get in more now Spring stock is coming in.

I paired this pink collarless blazer with this black floral tea-dress for a more formal look. This would be lovely for a Christening or Communion and later you could dress down the floral print dress with boots and a biker coat and pair the blazer with leather pants and heels for a glam night out look.

If you have a wedding coming up in the Summer I love these bandeau floral print scuba dresses. They were a great price and are so pretty. The pink blazer above would actually work well with these dresses as a cover up if it was a little chilly.

If you are the bride and looking for a dress for the night after your wedding or just looking for a dress for a special occasion, how gorgeous is this crochet high neck dress in Born Clothing! I also liked the simplicity of this V neck pink dress.

I am a sucker for a Tea dress as everyone knows at this stage and this pale blue long sleeved dress is lovely. To give it an edge you could pair either of these two coats or pair a black leather jacket over it with heeled ankle boots for an evening look.

If you are not a fan of a short dress this navy dress is just stunning! I also really like this mustard floral body which would be gorgeous with a wine pair of leather pants or skirt.

Lastly in Born for a more casual look I really liked this navy and red rain jacket!

I hope you have a good weekend and can get out your front doors or else relax and do some online browsing , there’s lots coming into the online stores to make me want to lose my debit card asap 🙂

One for him, one for her and one for Mammy.Friday fashion.

Another Friday has come around at last and ignoring the obvious cold that has crept back in today I am looking to the Spring Summer ahead as are the shops with some lovely pieces in store for children and women.

In Penneys for boys this week I was delighted to see my old favourite, the grandad collared shirts return in some new prints for boys. These are so versatile, they are dressy yet casual and team with jeans, chinos and shorts for a more formal Summer/occasion look . Here are a few of what is in-store in Limerick this week.

I paired two of the shirts with these gorgeous coloured chinos for toddlers and whilst they have a myriad of colours in the pants  I think you can play with colour on little boys and these pale blue and light red skinny legs are gorgeous.

Every year since the twins were born I buy these chino shorts in Penneys, I thought ahead last year and in the end of season sale I picked the next size up for next to nothing. However at ten euro they do last, I like the quality of these shorts and even with plenty of beach days and dinners out and about they have stood the test of my little man.

I particularly like these shades I spotted and there are some nice T-shirts coming in which would pair nicely with these and the 3/4 denim shorts out now too.

Staying in Penneys for girls this week I fell in love with some of their swimwear for toddler girls. How cute are these swimsuits! The watermelon and rainbow prints caught my eye, I love bright and cheery prints for toddlers.

Carrying on the watermelon theme I picked up this dress for A, sizing looked a bit small so I actually bought a 5/6 and will try it on her tomorrow. This was an absolute steal and is a perfect little Summer beach dress, I want this for myself:)

I had a few of these five euro cotton dresses last year for A and again I was surprised at how well they washed and for the few really hot days we got they fit the bill perfectly, This animal print in particular caught my eye this week , I love the orange frill on the straps.

Thinking ahead to Easter this little floral print dress would be lovely paired with a bright yellow or coral cardigan over the break.20180223_162447

This dotty denim jumpsuit is gorgeous and can be layered over now with converse and a gillet and worn with sandals in warmer weather.

I absolutely love this white T and string strap pinafore dress for little girls, the fabric is a really soft denim and is a lovely floaty little dress ,meaning comfort for our little girls . I’d pair this again with a cute pair of converse with a cardigan for now ,it would be lovely on colder days with chunky tights and a doc type boot aswell. Penneys still have a few offers on boots for girls so you could pick up a bargain pair .

And lastly for little girls this week , I love this frill pocket cuffed denim harem pants and this soft blue suedish biker jacket would match any of the looks here on the blog today.

lastly for any toy story mad kids I saw these two pieces for children in Penneys and only hope there is more coming soon!

For women this week, oh my lord the bags in Penneys are just devine at the moment, and absolute steals. I think the dearest here was fourteen euro! I picked the best that I spotted in terms of quality and design.

The turquoise and pink combo would make any outfit pop and would be fab at a wedding with plenty of room inside for all the essentials

It’s pink and it has the cutest bow on it and it is a bargain girls!  A shoulder strap is optional meaning it will take you from day out to nighttime no bother.

Only for I have a blush purse bag this was coming home with me. I love the subtle shade with minimal gold bar lock on this clutch. The picture doesn’t do this bag justice, there is beauty in the simplicity of it and it feels lovely too.

The Chloe inspired bag is here to stay and I love this teal version in-store right now.20180223_154706

And finally this floral embroidered studded clutch bag ( with shoulder strap) is so so pretty and again is quite roomy inside.

And now for the shoes,I had to drag myself away from these two pairs, I have nothing to match them but if you were on the hunt for a fab shoe to compliment a Communion/Confirmation/Wedding outfit look no further. How stunning are these limited edition shoes. The pink satin shoes with statement flower are very pretty and I love the grey with the cobalt blue contrast floral shoes aswell.

These snake print shoes and pink style also caught my eye as a pretty shoe to wear under a plain back dress, this would pair beautifully with the pink clutch earlier or the pink bowed bag.

I felt I had stumbled into Zara when I saw this gorgeous red embroidered bell sleeved dress, blue and white cheesecloth dress and floral ruffle dress in Penneys for women this week. There was no ten in-store in the first dress, with the twelve being quite baggy, I did try it on with a belt I had on ,but ideally you want this to be a loose shift, so I will try and find a ten in this to try it on. I adore the sleeves and print of this dress.

Again the striped dress was quite large fitting and the ten fit me perfectly, even across the bust, this is a gorgeous Summer day dress and extremely comfortable to wear. Lastly the floral ruffle dress in the twelve fit but I think this dress would suit the less hourglass ,full bust figure but it is a really pretty dress all the same.

A bardot dress is a must for Summer and this yellow laser cut dress is cute, it is a little opaque so would work well as a beach /poolside cover up or you could later this gorgeous khaki floral kimono style cardigan over it . I also really like this mustard long sleeved aztec print dress, no smaller sizes were left in this so I imagine it was snapped off the rails unfortunately as I would have loved it !

The bardot dress also came in this lovely denim and white print , again very similar to a dress I only got in Zara recently.  And I liked these pink and grey runners for a casual day time shoe, they would be a nice day-time look under this soft denim playsuit.

Lastly I loovvvee this pink floral satin trim playsuit( also comes in black), its quite generous fitting, again I tried on the ten, and Penneys have some gorgeous lace bralets in stock that I would wear under this as you cannot pull the waist tighter on this so it does hang a little on the bust. That being said its a gorgeous, comfortable playsuit,

And lastly it wouldnt be a blog without a blazer these days, this dotty one is lovely with 3/4 sleeves!

So ,overall lots in-store in Penneys for women ,toddler boys and toddler girls this week. I feel there is going to be a large drop soon in women and cannot wait to see what is coming next, based on the pieces I saw this week.

Have a good weekend everyone:)

One for him, one for her and one for Mammy.Friday fashion

It’s Friday again, whoop! Finally we have a bit of colour in the shops:) It is all about Zara and Tesco for our toddler boys, girls and women this week. Hopefully you see something you like.

First up for boys in Tesco this week there are plenty of waterproof coats coming in, these are pretty much unisex but you will find this coat in the boys aisle. I love bright colours in coats, it is very handy in playgrounds to spot your little runaway in a brightly coloured coat.20180216_123217

I love this pale blue and green tracksuits for boys both this dinosaur and pale blue tracksuits are only €12.50. I am slowly being converted to tracksuits when they are this cute! Army print shirts and hoodies are instore too, for those boys who are not fond of animal prints. I like these blue dinosaur slip on plimsolls for Spring/Summer and the velcro dinosaur runners are perfect for pairing until all these outfits.

I love this monster goemetric print denim shirt above also instore in Tesco at the moment . You could pair it open over any of these long sleeved cartoon tops or roll up the sleeves buttoned for a more formal look over a pair of chinos.

In Zara for boys this week , oh my God I love this dino print knit hoodie for boys. This only goes up to 3/4 , I am raging the older boys don’t carry this print as I really would need a 4/5. Zara as always outdo themselves with their jumpers and roll neck collars for boys. I love this blue striped smiley face jumper.

If you haven’t come across Zara’s pants for boys I can only say you are missing out on their infamous collection of printed pants for boys. They range from five euro to eight euro, such as the khaki veggie print below and keep your little dude stylish but comfortable. They wash really well and are perfect for boys who love to climb!

I also love these cream rubber soled boots for boys which would pair up with all outfits featured here perfectly.

In Tesco for girls this week , again there are plenty of waterproof macs, and I love this blue patent one ( also comes in pink) .

As part of their three for two range there are lots of tops, leggings and dresses, perfect for playwear and days out where comfort is keep. These red Happy print sweatshirt and leggings combination is a lovely Spring outfit too ,all at bargain prices.

I spotted these two floral print dresses in Tesco for young girls, the yellow floral print would be gorgeous over Easter and later in the Summer, whilst the black collared floral print dress is just too cute! Pair this with ankle boots and tights for a fab look, I want this dress myself.

Ah Zara this week has some gorgeous dresses for girls, these dresses are making me excited for what is coming in over the coming weeks.

This red bow sleeved dress is just devine and only one of many in for younger girls right now.

I love this gingham frill bib dress and the denim jersey dress is pretty but functional for little girls. This denim neon embroidery dress can be easily mixed and matched with tights and leggings and later bare legged with brown sandals for a Summer evening look I love this pale pink floral shift dress  and spotty blouse ( which pair amazing with pale pink pants with dungarees not pictured) . All of these looks would be fab paired with these glittery runners in Zara younger girls.

In Tesco for women I love this khaki studded coat ,perfect for Spring/ Summer paired over day dresses or simple top and jeans combination.

For a smart casual look this khaki shirt dress and blush pink blazer are perfect and can be both mixed and matched with other pieces, you could pair under jeans or open the dress out with a string top and skinny jeans.

If you are still on the look for a lighter coat, then this grey frill waist coat is fifty euro in Tesco currently. It is a bit pricey but the coat on has a lovely structure to it and would dress up a simple outfit ,layered with a floaty scarf until it gets warmer.

I am in love with these Tesco red skinnies! They are zipped at the bottom of the leg and waist perfect for a night out or paired with these red striped frilled top or denim Bardot top for a smart day time look.

How gorgeous is this mustard striped blouse in Tesco? I think I need to go back and pick this up for myself, it would be gorgeous over white skinny jeans or a pencil skirt for work wear.

In Zara every year they bring out these collared dresses of which I own many a variety at this stage. For under twenty euro these two tweed like prints ( not tweed material) are perfect office wear , pair with black tights now and a blazer layered over.

This delicate off-white lace dress is so pretty ,it’s from the TRF Zara range and I could see a bride wearing it the day after or it would be lovely towards the end of a holiday showing off a bronzed look. Everyone has a blush blazer in-store now and this is Zara’s version ,which would give an edge to this delicate dress.

Twenty euro! this is all this gorgeous floral dress is in Zara, the blush blazer would be perfect over this dress aswell. I also loved this black crochet bib dress and a flamingo print dress is always a good choice! Everyone knows now how much I love sequins and whilst this yellow is out there , I think it would look fab at a gig or night out.

These black mesh floral shoes are in Zara right now and would be lovely paired under all these looks.

Happy Friday everyone and happy shopping 🙂

One for him, one for her and one for Mammy. Friday fashion

The days are getting a little longer and the temperatures are kind of rising,( not that you would know with the snow in recent days!) The shops are still slowly filtering out the last of the sales rails and here are there brighter colours are coming into the shops. It’s been another manic week with little time to go around the shops and I am itching to get into Zara so expect hopefully lots from there and Penneys next week.

I popped into Heatons for swimwear for the twins as we start swimming lessons Sunday( and left with nothing ,all their sizes were sold out!) and saw a few pieces for boys and girls whilst walking through.

For boys, I have this exact same pair of jeans for himself from Next but at only thirteen euro these are a great buy. I love the colour and layered with this orange checkered shirt and mustard coat, your little man will still be nice and cosy on those snowy days.

The checkered theme continues in Dunnes for boys, and if you are looking for a St.Patricks day outfit which can be reworn then this green shirt fits the bill. Or this camo tracksuit jumper combination will do the trick as well.  I love when stores pair a checkered shirt and a long sleeved top for boys as it gives you two items to mix and match with other separates such as this red and blue shirt. And lastly how cute is this navy striped raincoat which will be perfect for Springtime.

For those of you lucky enough to be going on foreign holidays this Easter mid-term, short sleeves are making their way in and how cute are these Chill Out and Good Vibes T-shirts! You cannot go wrong with a polo neck top too as for now you can layer a long sleeved top underneath and then in warmer days go short sleeved. I also really liked these blue suede zip boots in Dunnes too.

For girls in Heatons , following on from their popular navy embroidered dress at Christmas they now have  a lovely pink floral dress in-store. I also really like this purple rabbit pinafore dress and ruffle collar top which would be perfect for Easter time. This dotty pinafore and striped top combo is really cute aswell.  These girls shoes start in a size ten and can be matched with lots of outfit combinations. I love all three and could not decide which to take home for herself!

for girls in Dunnes this week I love this mint green raincoat for girls and this again would be a lovely St.Patricks day nod! I fell in love with this white and black print blouse for girls, it would be lovely over a pair of black skinny jeans or skirt and tight combination. This denim drop waist floral embroidered dress is gorgeous and would being your little girl right into Spring, paired with tights for now and sandals in the warmer weather.

For women this week its all about the coats in Dunnes. I want this blazer in every colour it comes in! at thirty five euro they are just so versatile and I spotted blush pink, black, plum, white, cerise pink versions, all smaller sizes were gone so I am off to another Dunnes tomorrow to get the black and pink. They will go over skinnie jeans, leathers and short skirt/top combos.

This blue wax, fleece linked parka is forty euro and a perfect transitional coat, its still cold enough for a warm coat but not a heavy padded Winter coat. I love this red coat from Gallery aswell for Spring time. This grey and white longer length coat would be gorgeous over white jeans, blouse and scarf.

Dunnes have this gorgeous coral/orange cardigan right now and I paired it with this aztec print skirt and these navy floral skinny pants are so nice,I will definitely be going back to buy. There is a lovely sheen to these pants and could easily work on both a night out and in the office with a cami underneath.

Pop over to my Instagram stories to have a look at some of the blazers from Dunnes in the meantime.

Happy Friday everyone 🙂
